*Great experience! Risa helped me design the trailer as I wanted it. The horses love the Balanced Ride trailer. No more romping and stomping (no matter how gently I drove), no more scrubbed tails and a fallen horse, requiring us to stop and help her up. I’m very glad I found this trailer and this dealer to help me solve a scary and sometimes dangerous issue. I can’t recommend them enough!
*Well it’s official! The horses love the new trailer. We took it out with my two big mares, and they were relaxed and happy the whole trip. No romping and stomping, or falling in the trailer when braking, no torn up tails from bracing, and the one who had fallen twice in my old trailer just marched right in to go home after our ride. It had taken two of us to coax her in for the first trip. The camera was great to have (I had my friend watch it, so I wasn’t distracted). Thank you for all your help and patience!
*The black mare is a full Percheron that is 16.3 hands and wears a 87” blanket. The buckskin is 16.2 hands and wears an 86” blanket. I have also put my 17.2 hand shire cross gelding in there. I haven’t measured him, but would estimate he would wear a 90” blanket. The trailer is doing great for my big horses, I’ve made several long trips to Texas and all the horses (even a brand new Percheron gelding who hadn’t been in that type of trailer) ride very calmly in it. I’ve put some youngsters in it who haven’t hauled much, and even they ride quietly without scrambling.

“Romeo looks so small in his Balanced Ride! It's so big in there, he is hiding behind me. We also took a three-year-old stallion, they traveled beautifully together. I hope your winter is coming to an end and you are ready to enjoy spring! This trailer is outstanding! I can't say enough great things about this trailer. It's the perfect size for my needs, and the horses travel just so well in it. Thanks for designing a great trailer!”

“Just wanted to let you know the good news! I have not loaded Eva since October, usually a kiss of death not to keep loading her between show season etc.... Yesterday, I needed to take her to the University unexpectedly (she is fine), so I rushed over to the barn after work to load her up. In the old days, it would have been an hour loading session that would have been dangerous and stressful for us both. She absolutely never even hesitated to load yesterday. Walked straight up on the trailer, head low, not even changing her stride. She road quietly (not one rear, kick, or scream), and walked off one step at a time when we arrived. It made my night so much easier! No stress wondering if I would even get her there, and knowing I would have to unload in the dark because there was no way I could get her to load while there was still daylight. I even made it back home before dark!

“Many of you have witnessed Eva’s trailer antics. Over the 5 years that I have owned her, there have been improvements. it used to take hours to load her, and we were down to about 10 minutes. However, she had a pattern that she would not break. The pattern was: start hesitating moving forward when you see the trailer, get close enough to the trailer to get your front legs in, then rear backwards (repeat 3-5 times), then get in...when it was time to exit, bolt out of the trailer, hit the lead rope tension, spin and buck or rear. We worked on trailering a lot, we went to natural horsemanship trainers and trailering clinics, which never worked because Eva fights back. So, I went a different route and purchased a new Balance Ride trailer. Best purchase ever!”

“We’re at the annual AHA beach ride fund raiser at Myrtle Bleach. This event prompted the purchase of my current Balanced Ride many years ago. Trips like these make me think, “Man I love this trailer!!” So thankful to you for my last 2 trailers & now the 3rd one coming. You are an amazingly patient & committed woman to each customer’s every need. I’m incredibly thankful for you.”

“The girls had a jump lesson tonight so we put the trailer to work when we got home. Elliot is a 17HH 6 year old Hanoverian and did not like either of our old trailers at all. Loading was always an ordeal. Here is a video and picture of him loading in the Balanced Ride after seeing it for the first time. We can’t thank you enough for the trailer and phenomenal customer service!”

"We took the trailer to the barn to introduce it to the horses. It was so exciting! We tried "S" (the difficult loader) first, and of course, he refused to get on for 10 minutes although he was very interested in it at first. Then finally he went on and we just walked him straight through. I wish you could have seen the look on his face! He was so surprised! So we just kept taking him through over and over. By the third time he was practically pulling us in. He was saying, ‘I LIKE this! I can move around and not be claustrophobic!’ The other horses were fine. They are great loaders anyway. They did look a little confused at first though! So it passed the horse test! We love the door handle on the side ramp door. It pulled great. We all LOVE our trailer!”

"Here's a picture of the kids on the trailer. Loading and traveling is a non-issue. They loaded and traveled well before, but now they have so much more room and the whole thing comes apart so easily should anyone get trapped. Loading up the side and out the back is a no-brainer and the horses adapted after only a couple practice runs loading. The horses are just eating their supper on the trailer in the pic, hence no ties and we weren't going anywhere in that instance. Hard to believe these horses are both 16.2!! They look like ponies on there.”

“I can't believe how much we enjoyed the new trailer! The horses loved it, and it pulled like a dream. We are so excited to have it and it will get plenty of use. It's just perfect, I am attaching a couple of pictures for you, I am sure you will agree it is a beautiful and eye catching rig! We absolutely love our Balanced Ride™ Trailer! We have been using it about twice a week lately. I have hauled 3 horses and its perfect! Easy to use and the horses all love it. Thanks for everything.”

“Just wanted to update you on our trips in our new trailer. We absolutely love it! So do the horses! Sulley our problem loader went on his first trip this weekend. We had loaded him on it quite a few times, but not gone anywhere. At first he bulked as usual, but then when he finally went on he was fine every time. We did not close things up till the last time and he was still fine so we figured he was ready to go this weekend! When it was time to load he walked right up the ramp and went for the hay. He stood quietly munching hay while Laura fastened the butt bar and tied the lead rope. He stood quietly while we finished things up and got on our way. When we got there we opened the back and started to lead him off and he just stood there! It was amazing! It was as if he was saying “ No thanks I’m good”. He did not want to get off the trailer! Well he did anyway and had a very nice show. He even spent about an hour on the trailer while we were waiting on the scores. It was very cool that day and we had everything opened up. He was totally happy and just munched hay the whole time. This is a horse that would take 4 hours to load and was still nervous the whole time he was on the trailer! If this isn’t a testament to how good your trailers are, I don’t know what is! Sulley says ‘Thank you, Risa, for my great new ride. I love it!’”

Risa, just got back from 8 days in the badlands. What a great trip. My trailer is a dream. Much less fatigue driving 2 days to get there. Hauled all the supplies and hay easy. When we unloaded the supplies there, we used it for day trips like Mount Rushmore. Loaded 4 tacked up horses and it was wonderful. All the extra stuff I put on it were worth it. It is the best. They were so comfortable with the fans and even drank water while traveling. Did I say it was the best?

Hi Risa!
Two years in to owning my trailer and it’s the best money I’ve spent :-) I get questions about it EVERYWHERE I go.

Hi Risa,
I just wanted to let you know how much I love my new trailer! My retired 17.3 WB, who refused to get into a trailer for the last two years, now self-loads into it any time I ask. I've been able to get him out trail riding this summer which has been so much fun!
My younger guy (pictured) is 16.3 hands and he is nervous about everything except the trailer. I used to have to plan for extra time to load horses but now everything goes smoothly and according to plan.
I really appreciate working with you. Thanks for everything!

Hi Therisa,
Keep meaning to update you on my historically difficult loading mare’s experience with the trailer.
Using positive reinforcement, I have been able to take her on a couple of short trips.
If I’m not wanting to train loading, I have to close it up, otherwise she will go stand in the trailer and wait for her rewards. See attached picture, she got in with me around 20 m away and stands patiently today! Honestly, I wasn’t sure this would be possible as she has so much trailer phobia and with natural horsemanship methods took 3+ hours to load in my old trailer.
The new trailer and allowing her the choice to enter with positive reinforcement has made the difference!
Took the truck and my Balanced Ride trailer into the city this past weekend to take my mare to a drive. Was never so happy for a solid rig and to know my precious cargo was safe and comfortable. Love it! Candace
Here is a pic of my two mares. Merida, the half draft is 16HH, 1300-1400lbs with plenty of space. Gracie is 14.3HH and looks like a pony. This pic was taken after I hauled them for 7 hours to the vet. The temps were in the 90's but with the great ventilation and the fan the horses were not even warm to the touch on unloading! The trailer pulls like a dream! Thank you so much for this great trailer. Susan
